One Action-Point Pool for Every Crew

Work recorded: August 4, 2026

  • In this development build, every Crew starts a Workday with one AP 4 / 4 pool.
  • Roads do not add a separate movement reserve.
  • At AP 0 / 4, a Crew is simply finished for that Workday and leaves the ordinary attention list unless another real decision is waiting.

One day, one time budget

In this development build, every Crew starts a Workday with one AP 4 / 4 pool. Moving and every direct action that costs AP draw from that same number, so a longer trip leaves less of the day for work, while working first leaves less time to travel.

Roads do not add a separate movement reserve. Their value is that a Crew can cover more useful ground within the same four points and still have time left for the job at the destination.

When the day runs out

At AP 0 / 4, a Crew is simply finished for that Workday and leaves the ordinary attention list unless another real decision is waiting. Incomplete work can return after the next Workday refresh, and it still requires an explicit Continue.

The temporary action-specific AP reserves have also been removed. Current mechanical specialization comes from the Equipment a Crew is actually carrying, rather than a second hidden time pool.

Current state

The unified AP rule and its four-pip marker are working in the development build shown here. UI wording and marker art are still in development.
