Keeping the Map in View
Work recorded: August 6, 2026
- In the 22:00 development snapshot, selecting a Crew instead opens a compact workspace in the lower-left, leaving most of the world map visible.
- Current AP and status sit beside the main commands, while the Field Pack and Equipment are reduced to short summaries.
- Inventory, Loadout and Passive information have not been removed.

A smaller everyday Crew workspace
The previous Crew screen stretched across the full width of the game and kept every inventory and equipment detail open at once. In the 22:00 development snapshot, selecting a Crew instead opens a compact workspace in the lower-left, leaving most of the world map visible.
Current AP and status sit beside the main commands, while the Field Pack and Equipment are reduced to short summaries. The aim is to keep the map as the place where the player reads position and chooses targets, without hiding the Crew actions needed next.
Details when they are needed
Inventory, Loadout and Passive information have not been removed. They now have separate detail entries, so the ordinary Crew view does not have to display every empty slot and long explanation all the time.
This is an active development snapshot, not a finished interface. Alignment, wording and the wider Expedition Overview connection were still in progress at this point.
